In 2020, the foundation for success was laid with the founding of opti lean. From the perspective of a former hand tool salesman in the industrial sector and with a recognized potential, Isabell founded the company with Dominik. Through their experience in the food and pharmaceutical industries, the two became aware of the problem of a lack of standards and the importance of implementing the 5S method. Now, almost five years later, it is clear that the decision to leave their jobs was the right one. Opti lean is recognized as an expert in the 5S method and the successful and sustainable implementation of shadow walls. The opti lean journey is far from over. We are constantly expanding our offerings, listening to our customers, and delivering the products you need. How it all began – from the idea to real production

It all began with a customer request: order, cleanliness, and an ideal place for hand tools. This wish led to the creation of our first product – the shadow wall – and our first website : www.optilean.de

The first prototypes were created in the basement, the garage—and eventually throughout the house. What once began as an idea is now a company with over five years (15 years) of market experience .

In 2023, we took the step – out of the basement and into a real production facility.

As you can see on the right, our move was a success; today we are at home in beautiful Ahrensburg near Hamburg .
